Heart Work
This time of year, my design work gets extra personal... posters for local holiday events, social graphics for community fundraisers, and singlets designs for my son’s wrestling team. These projects might not be high-profile, but they’re heart work. Using my skills to support what my family and community care about, that’s one of the best parts of what I do.
It’s funny how often these “little” projects end up meaning the most. Maybe because they connect real people to real causes, the flyer that brings families together downtown, the singlet that turns a group into a team. Design has a way of making people feel proud of where they belong.

When I open up my design files this time of year, I see layers of community, and it always reminds me that creativity doesn’t just live in the big projects. It shows up in the everyday moments we care about most.
These are the designs that remind me that creativity can be both professional and personal, and that giving your time and talent is its own kind of success.
