Everybody Wants This (until they don't)
Did you watch Nobody Wants This on Netflix yet? I binged it way too fast… and that’s kind of the point I'm shooting for here.
I told myself I wouldn't, but one episode turned into three, then five, then “just one more before bed.”
It made me think about how we consume things now... fast, all at once, and onto the next before we’ve even really taken it in. It’s no wonder we’re all a little overstimulated and under-inspired.
Part of the reason I created The Grid was to slow that scroll. To offer something small, visual, thoughtful. Something that doesn't feel so all-consuming. Maybe we don’t need more, faster. Maybe we just need better moments of pause.
There’s something beautiful about a slower kind of creativity, the kind that doesn’t rush toward an ending or demand constant newness. The Grid, for me, is that space between binge and burnout. It’s meant to be visited, revisited, and hopefully leave you thinking about your own pace.
Maybe that’s what we’re all after... ways to enjoy things again, without feeling like we have to finish them.
GOTTA KNOW!! What's been your favorite Netflix series lately? Leave me a comment!
